Scenario Role Players

Scenario Role Players

We are seeking professional, reliable, and flexible scenario actors to support one-day law enforcement and private-security training programs. Actors will portray realistic characters during controlled training scenarios that help officers, security personnel, investigators, and protective-services professionals practice communication, situational awareness, de-escalation, and decision-making skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for actors, improvisational performers, educators, or anyone comfortable portraying a range of roles in dynamic situations. No law-enforcement background is required; training and safety briefings will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Portray assigned characters with realism and consistency (e.g., bystander, suspect, witness, victim, customer, employee, distressed individual, etc.)
  • Follow scenario scripts and instructor direction while maintaining the ability to improvise within guidelines
  • Demonstrate appropriate non-verbal behaviors, emotional reactions, and physical cues as instructed
  • Participate in live training evolutions, force-on-force scenarios (non-contact or simulated equipment), or interview-and-interrogation exercises depending on assignment
  • Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, and reliability throughout the session
  • Assist instructors with resets between scenarios as needed
  • Participate in pre-brief and debrief discussions
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the handling of any simulation equipment or props

Requirements

  • Strong acting, improvisation, or role-playing ability
  • Comfortable performing in high-energy, realistic training scenarios
  • Ability to follow direction while staying in character
  • Professionalism, reliability, and clear communication
  • Willingness to portray a wide range of behaviors (e.g., cooperative, resistant, emotional, calm, confused, etc.)
  • Ability to stand, walk, and engage in light physical movement for several hours
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Prior experience in scenario-based training, security, or law enforcement is a plus but not required

What We Provide

  • Full scenario briefing and on-site training
  • All props and equipment
  • A safe, controlled training environment
  • Competitive compensation
  • Opportunity for repeat engagements
